1. Who this policy is from

PT Sari Destinasi Desa (Sidemen Retreats) operates this booking service and determines how the personal data described below is handled. Where this policy says "we", it means PT Sari Destinasi Desa (Sidemen Retreats).

Mountain Bamboo House is an independent property. It receives your details in order to host your stay and handles them under its own responsibility once it has them.

2. What we collect

When you make a booking, we collect:

• your name and email address, and your phone number if you provide one;
• any message you write to the property;
• your booking details: the property and unit, your dates, the number of guests, any additional services you select, the price, and the booking reference;
• a record of the terms you accepted and the time you accepted them;
• basic technical data your browser sends, such as your IP address, together with a session cookie that keeps your booking in progress.

We never see your card details. Payment is entered on our payment provider's own secure page. Card and account numbers are not transmitted to us and are not stored on our systems. We receive only whether the payment succeeded, the method used, and a transaction reference.

3. Why we use it

• To take your booking, hold your dates, and confirm the stay.
• To give the property what it needs to receive you.
• To take payment, issue any refund that becomes due, and answer a payment dispute.
• To contact you about your booking, including confirmation, changes, or a problem with the stay.
• To keep the accounting and tax records Indonesian law requires of us.
• To keep the service secure and operating correctly.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

• The property you booked: your name, contact details, stay details and any message you wrote. It needs these to host you.
• Our licensed payment provider, which processes the payment and holds the card data we never receive.
• Our service providers for hosting and infrastructure, who process data only on our instructions.
• A card issuer or authority, where we must respond to a payment dispute or a lawful request.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: a session cookie that remembers your booking as you move through checkout, and a security token that protects the forms you submit. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking on this site. Blocking essential cookies will prevent checkout from working.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your booking record for as long as we need it to run the booking, settle with the property, answer a possible payment dispute, and meet Indonesian tax and accounting requirements. A booking that is never paid for expires, and its record is retained only briefly.

7. Your rights

Under Indonesian personal data protection law you may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it in a particular way. You may also withdraw consent where our use of your data rests on it.

Write to [email protected]. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and respond within 14 days. Some data must be retained despite a deletion request, such as the record of a paid booking for as long as tax law or a live dispute requires it, and we will tell you when that applies.

8. Keeping it safe

Data is sent over an encrypted connection, card details never reach our systems, and access to booking records is limited to the property you booked and the Sidemen Retreats staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Children

Bookings must be made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect data from children, other than the guest numbers an adult provides when booking a stay.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The version published here at the time you book is the one that applies to your booking. Questions, requests or complaints about privacy should be sent to [email protected].
