Sleek and curved like a squid gliding through the water, this bamboo dome nestles into Bukit Sandag’s forest line, opening east toward dawn over Sidemen and north to Mt Agung. Slate-black roof “flaps” peel back to reveal warm bamboo ribs inside, while a clear skylight draws jungle light deep into the lofted bedroom. A single curving pool hugs the deck, fed by a white slide that arcs in like a squid arm dipping into the sea, equal parts fun and invitation to cool off after a valley hike. Below, an open lounge hovers just above the tree ferns; above, a round bed and hammock mezzanine give you front-row seats to sunrise and firefly shows. Expect simple comforts canopy netting, rain-shower grotto, and hand-woven textures wrapped in architecture you won’t forget.
