Welcome to Griya Valud Om Swastyastu. Welcome to our sanctuary in the heart of the Sidemen Valley. Griya Valud was created to offer a peaceful retreat where guests can reconnect with nature, enjoy majestic views, and experience true Balinese hospitality. To preserve the tranquil atmosphere of our property, ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, and maintain harmony with our local village community, we kindly ask that you read and adhere to our House Rules and Guest Stay Terms. 1. Check-In, Check-Out & Guest Registration - Check-In Time: 14:00 – 22:00. - Check-Out Time: 11:00. - Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and prior written approval from management. Unapproved late check-outs beyond 12:30 may incur additional fee charges (50% of the daily rate up to 18:00, full daily rate after 18:00). - Identity Registration: In compliance with Indonesian Law and local regulation, all staying guests must present a valid passport or official government-issued ID upon arrival. Occupancy Limits: Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to the number of registered guests specified in your confirmed booking. Unregistered visitors are not permitted overnight without prior approval. 2. Tranquility, Quiet Hours & Valley Serenity Sidemen is a traditional, peaceful rural sanctuary. To protect the peaceful experience for all guests across our units and show respect to the surrounding village: - Quiet Hours: 22:00 – 07:00 daily. - Noise Policy: Amplified speakers, sound systems, loud music, and disruptive parties are strictly prohibited at all times in all private rooms, outdoor terraces, and common areas. - Balcony & Shared Space Etiquette: Please maintain moderate voice levels when enjoying private verandas, garden walkways, or open-air dining areas, especially early in the morning and late at night. 3. Shared Swimming Pool Rules Our outdoor infinity pool is a shared amenity for all resident guests. - Operating Hours: 06:00 – 20:00 daily. - No Lifeguard: Swimming is strictly at your own risk. Children under 12 years of age must be actively supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. - Hygiene: Please shower at the outdoor shower prior to entering the pool to remove oils, sunblock, or dirt. - Pool Towels: Dedicated pool towels are provided. Please do not use white indoor bath towels for the pool or lawn. 4. Gardens, Fish Pond & Natural Surroundings Our lush gardens and water features are delicate ecosystems carefully maintained for your peace and pleasure. Garden Fish Pond Safety: Please exercise care around the fish pond and wet stone edges. Walking along pond borders, climbing features, or stepping into the pond is strictly prohibited. Children must be supervised around water features. - Feeding the Fish: Please do not throw food scraps, bread, trash, or foreign objects into the pond. Designated fish food may be requested from our staff. - Flora & Fauna: Please respect the nature surrounding Griya Valud. Do not pick flowers, break plant stems, or disturb birds and wildlife living in or around the garden. 5. Smoking, Fire Safety & Prohibited Items Due to our eco-conscious build, thatched roofing elements, and natural surroundings, strict fire safety measures apply: - Non-Smoking Interiors: All guest rooms, bathrooms, and enclosed spaces are strictly 100% Non-Smoking and Non-Vaping. - Designated Smoking: Smoking is permitted only in designated open-air outdoor areas. Always use provided ashtrays and ensure butts are completely extinguished. Never toss cigarette butts into garden beds, grass, or the fish pond. - Cleaning Fee: Smoking inside guest rooms will trigger a mandatory deep-cleaning and air sanitization fee of IDR 2,000,000. - Open Flames: Open flames, incense burning, candles, shisha/hookah, fireworks, and personal cooking stoves/burners are strictly prohibited anywhere on property premises. 6. Illicit Substances & Illegal Activities - Zero-Tolerance Drug Policy: The possession, use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs, narcotics, or prohibited chemical substances is strictly forbidden under Indonesian Law. Violation will result in immediate eviction without refund, forfeiture of all deposits, and immediate referral to local law enforcement (Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia). 7. Pet Policy (Pre-Approved Pets Only) Griya Valud is pet-friendly by prior arrangement only: - Prior Approval: Pets must be registered and approved by management prior to check-in. - Leash & Control: Pets must be kept on a leash or under direct supervision in all common areas, gardens, and pathways. - Pool Restriction: Pets are strictly NOT permitted in the swimming pool or on pool lounge furniture. - Clean-Up: Owners are fully responsible for picking up after their pets immediately. - Noise & Damage: Owners are financially responsible for any damages or excessive noise disruptions caused by their pets. 8. Care of Property, Furnishings & Keys Staining & Damage: Please treat our furniture, woodwork, linens, and decor with care. Excessive or permanent staining of bed linens and towels caused by hair dye, temporary tattoos, henna, or tanning products will incur replacement fees. - Room Keys: Please safeguard your room key. A key replacement fee of IDR 200,000 will be charged for lost keys. - Maintenance Reporting: Please report any broken or malfunctioning items to staff immediately so we can fix them promptly for you. 9. Valuables, Safety & Liability - Personal Safety & Valuables: Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. Griya Valud assumes no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal money, jewelry, electronics, or valuables left unattended. - Injuries & Accidents: Griya Valud is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illness sustained by guests or visitors while on property grounds, including wet steps, pool activities, garden walkways, or off-site excursions. 10. Cultural & Community Respect Griya Valud is located within Banjar Tebola, a traditional Balinese village deeply rooted in culture and spiritual tradition. - Village Etiquette: When walking outside the property into the local village or rice paddies, please dress modestly. - Sacred Offerings & Temples: You may notice small daily floral offerings (Canang Sari) placed near entryways, steps, or garden shrines. Please be mindful and avoid stepping on or disturbing these sacred offerings. Guest Acknowledgment By completing check-in and accepting accommodation at Griya Valud Sidemen, all registered guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to these Stay Terms & House Rules.
